Tony LEVIN

World Diary

(1996)

"This is the first of my solo excursions, the music was recorded on the road, in various hotels, houses, and even an occasional studio. It features duets, trios and more, with some very special musicians I've been honored to hook up with. The booklet has my diaries of the days of recording (sometimes on hotel stationery or whatever was handy) and photos. The self-designed package features my hand tinted photos as artwork (I was so fussy about the terra cotta background color, ended up scanning an actual tile for it) and no-plastic packaging (which is a limited edition - when they're gone (which we will notify) future copies will be in a conventional jewel box.)"
