1. Spanish Guitar
As I sit here and play
My spanish guitar
Underneath the stars,
It passes the time away.
Each note I play
Is a memory of Spain,
The melodies they take me
Back there again.
So as I sit here and play
On my old spanish guitar,
Each note I play
Just sails away.
And it brings me closer
To that spanish senorita.
Oh, she's so far away.
As I sit here and play
Underneath the stars,
It passes the time away
And brings me closer
To my spanish holiday.
2. Parisienne Walkways
I remember Paris in '49.
The Champs Elysee, San Michelle
And old Beauolais wine.
And I recall that you were mine
In those Parisienne days.
Looking back at the photographs.
Those summerdays spent outside corner cafes.
Oh, I could write you paragraphs,
About my old Parisienne days.
3. Need Your Love So Bad
Need someone's hand
To lead me through the night
Need someone's arms
To hold and squeeze me tight
'Cause when the night begins
I'm at an end
Because I need your love so bad
Need some lips
To feel next to mine
Need someone to stand up
And tell me when I'm lyin'
When the lights are low
And it's time to go
That's when I need your love so bad
Why don't you give it up
Bring it on home to me,
Or write it on a piece of paper, darlin'
So it can be read to me
Tell me that you love me
And stop driving me mad
Beacause I
I need your love so bad
Need your soft voice
Talk to me at night
Don't want you to worry baby
'Cause I know we can make everything allright
Listen to my plea baby
Bring it home to me
Because I need your love so bad
4. All Time Low
You've had your share of troubles.
Lord knows you've had your share of pain.
You've had your share of troubles.
Lord knows you've had your share of pain.
When it all comes down to you,
You're puttin' on a brave face.
But it just takes some bad luck
To put you in your place.
When there's no place to run to,
When there's no place to go,
You know you've had an all time low.
Oh.
You thought the hard times were behind you,
But boy were you ever wrong.
Those hard times been followin' you
Ever since the day that you were born.
You've had your share of troubles.
Lord knows you've had your share of pain.
When it all comes down to you,
You're puttin' on a brave face.
But it just takes some bad luck
To put you in your place.
When there's no place to run to,
When there's no place to go,
You know you've had an all time low.
All time low, yeah.
You've had your share of troubles.
Lord knows, Lord knows you've had your share of pain.
You've had your share of troubles.
Lord knows, Lord knows you've had your share of pain.
When it all comes down to you,
You're puttin' on a brave face.
But it just takes some bad luck
To put you in your place.
When there's no place to run to,
When there's no place to go,
You know you've had an all time low.
You've had an all time low.
You've had an all time low.
All time low
5. I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow
I've been searchin' for something I might never find.
I've been looking for something I have left behind.
I've been searching every day in the rising sun.
I've been trying to find my way till the day is done.
I've been searching.
I've been reaching for something I might never touch.
And I've been dreaming of something that I want so much.
I've been counting all the tears in the falling rain.
I've been trying to hide my fears, but it's all the same.
And I don't know if I'll ever pass this way again.
I can't wait until tomorrow.
It's something I might never see.
I can't wait until tomorrow
For tomorrow never waits for me.
Tomorrow never waits for me.
I can't wait until tomorrow.
It's something I might never see.
I can't wait until tomorrow
For tomorrow never waits for me.
Tomorrow just won't wait for me.
Tomorrow never waits for me.
I've been searchin' for something I might never find.
And I've been looking for something I have left behind.
I've been counting all the tears in the falling rain.
I've been hiding all my fears, but it's all the same.
And I don't know if I'll ever pass this way again.
I can't wait until tomorrow.
It's somethin' I might never see.
I can't wait until tomorrow
For tomorrow never waits for me.
I can't wait until tomorrow.
It's not the place I wanna be.
I can't wait until tomorrow
For tomorrow just won't wait for me.
6. Merry Go Round
When I first met you baby
I didn't even know your name
When I first met you baby
I didn't even know your name
Oh, I was feelin' low on the ground
Bad luck and evil women were to blame
I never realized
How sweet and kind one woman can be
I never realized, people
How sweet and kind a woman can be
Oh, but when I looked in your eyes
I knew true love had come to me
Yeah
Take my hand
Hold it tight and don't let go
Take my hand, take my hand
Hold it tight and don't let go
'Cause our love is like a merry-go-round
Forever and ever round it goes
7. Empty Rooms
Loneliness is your only friend.
A broken heart that just won't mend
Is the price you pay.
It's hard to take when love grows old.
The days are long and the nights turn cold
When it fades away.
You hope that she will change her mind
But the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
You see her face in every crowd.
You hear her voice, but you're still proud
So you turn away.
You tell yourself that you'll be strong.
But your heart tells you
This time you're wrong.
You hope that she will change her mind
But the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms
Where we learn to live without love.
All alone in an empty room.
Lonliness is your only friend.
Oh, she's gone and you're at the end.
8. As The Years Go Passing By
There is nothing I can do
As you leave me here to cry
There is nothing I can do
As you leave me here to cry
You know my love will follow you
As the years go passing by
Give you all that I own
That's one thing you can't deny
Give you all that I own
That's one thing you can't deny
You know my love will follow you
As the years go passing by
Gonna leave it up to you
So long, so long, goodbye
Gonna leave it up to you
So long, so long, goodbye
You know my love will follow you
As the years go passing by
Gonna leave it up to you
So long, so long, goodbye
Gonna leave it up to you
So long, so long, goodbye
You know my love will follow you
As the years go passing by
9. Driftin'
I ain't never missed a woman
Anytime or anyhow
Said I ain't never missed a woman
Anytime or anyhow
I said, I ain't never missed nobody
Just like the way I miss my baby now
If you could see my woman
You'd know why no one else can take her place
If you could see my woman, people
You'd realize why no one else can take her place
You'd know just what I'm talking 'bout
If you could see my baby's sweet, sweet face
That's why I ain't never missed a woman
Anytime or any place
No, I ain't never ever missed a woman
Anytime or any place
When I say I ain't never missed nobody
I mean I ain't never missed nobody
Like I miss my baby now, yeah
10. Nothing's The Same
Another time, another place.
The lonely streets where we embraced.
Then you would go without a trace.
Nothing's the same without you.
Another day goes passing by.
I sit alone and wonder why.
Sometimes it's hard, but I will try
To live my life without you.
You're in my heart, you're in my dreams.
You're everywhere or so it seems.
So many times I've heard that song.
Hold back the tears, pretend you're strong.
Another day goes slowly by.
I sit alone and wonder why.
I think of you, I start to cry.
Nothing's the same without you.
Another time, another place.
The sweetness of our last embrace.
What would I give to see your face.
Nothing's the same without you.
Nothing's the same,
Nothing's the same,
Nothing's the same without you.
